Merge a Mini Army How to Upgrade Spawn Tier and the Base
The shop has many rows. Only four of them change a six-player session.
Players lose hours in Merge a Mini Army because they buy the wrong row. The shop sells Spawn Tier, base capacity, max deployment, cash multipliers, packs, and plus-troop offers. Footage from Bax, DinozaurPlays, and first-session creators all pointed at the same order: Spawn Tier first, then capacity, then max deployment, then multipliers. Packs are a skip, not a strategy. This page is that order in full sentences.
The short card is the upgrade order tool. The merge math sits on how to merge. Robux grades sit on Robux value and game pass tiers.
Spawn Tier is the real income
Spawn Tier raises the model that appears when the pad produces a new toy. If you stay on tier-1 soldiers, every later landmark — Biker, ATV, first tank — is a pile of manual twins. One purchase skips a layer of that pile forever. Creators called this the only upgrade they cared about once the starter camp was stable.
Buy Spawn Tier whenever the pad can still hold two empty squares. Do not wait for a “sale.” There is no evidence of a rotating discount on this row. A future code might gift a bump; until the codes hub lists one, cash from camps is the only discount.
Capacity before heroics
Base capacity is how many models the pad can hold. When it fills, spawn stops and merges often need a temporary slot they no longer have. That is a hard loss condition. Two empty squares is the minimum. Three is comfort. A full pad with a unique Heavy Tank in the corner is not wealth. It is a lock.
Raise capacity after Spawn Tier, not before. A huge empty pad that still spawns tier-1 soldiers is a parking lot. A tight pad that already spawns Bikers is a factory. The merge planner repeats this until it is boring, because boring is how you reach tanks.
Max deployment is third
Max deployment is how many units may leave at once. Early sessions sat at three, then six. Raising it before capacity means you send a crowd and come home to a pad that cannot accept the dead. Raising it before Spawn Tier means you send a larger pile of weak toys.
Buy the next deployment notch when you already own the next camp chapter and the pad still has twins after a send. How to deploy is the click. This page is only the purchase.
Multipliers after territory
2x cash, 2x spawn, 2x speed, and 4x rows look like the whole game. They are not. A multiplier on a pad that owns zero camps is a toast. Capture the starter flag and garrison first. Then a cash multiplier pays while you merge. Speed helps the crawl, but it does not replace Spawn Tier. See how to get cash fast for offline ticks versus shop panic.
What not to buy early
Epic / Super packs. They can drop a Heavy Tank or a bomber and scramble your brain. Fun. Rarely efficient before you understand the Index. DinozaurPlays bought an Epic Pack mid-session and still had to learn ATV the hard way.
Plus-N troops offers. Footage treated huge plus-troop bundles as weak value. They fill the pad with junk you must merge or deploy just to breathe.
Random shop skins. They do not capture camps.
If you have Robux and a long session ahead, Auto Merge is the pass that actually clicks twins. That is a wrist saver, not an upgrade row. Grade it on the Robux value page.
After Rebirth
There is one Rebirth in the current build. It resets the board and spikes income. After you press it, the upgrade order does not change. Spawn Tier still first. Capacity still second. Do not spend the new income on packs because the ticker looks exciting. Use the rebirth checklist before the click, then come back here.
After a weekly patch
If latest update shows a new shop row, do not assume it beats Spawn Tier. Re-test the four-step order on a fresh server. If a Codes menu appears, redeem first, then spend the gift on this same order. How to redeem is the click path. This page is still the spend path.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Merge a Mini Army questions.
What should I upgrade first?
Spawn Tier, then base capacity, then max deployment, then cash multipliers. Packs come last.
Is Auto Merge an upgrade?
It is a Robux pass that clicks twins. Buy it for long sessions, not instead of Spawn Tier.
Why is my pad full after I bought troops?
Capacity was too low. Merge or deploy the weakest stack, then buy capacity before the next pack.
Do multipliers work offline?
Cash still ticks offline. Buy multipliers after you own camps so the tick has territory behind it.
Did the 15 August update change the order?
Not that we can reproduce. Play the four-step order until the HUD shows a new row that clearly replaces Spawn Tier.
