How to Beat Other Players in Merge a Mini Army
Servers hold six plots. The enemy is the neighbor with stealth pilots, not a PvE boss bar.
Merge a Mini Army is online the moment you join. Six players share the camps. There is no ranked ladder and no clan UI. There is a bounty number and a flag that used to be yours. This page is how to stop donating both.
If you still lose to the first helicopter NPC, read how to capture camps first. If your pad is the problem, read how to merge. This article assumes you can take a starter camp and still lose the server.
The real win condition
Winning is holding income. A neighbor with a prettier Index is not the winner if you own five flags and they own a highlight reel. Creators who “took the server” did it by flipping the middle last, not first, and by keeping a reserve tank at home.
Killing another army is a means. If the fight happens on a flag you cannot hold, you paid health for a montage.
Read the plot, not the chat
Look at what a neighbor deploys before you walk at them. Shotgun infantry means they are new — take their side camp. Mammoth Tanks mean you go sideways. Stealth pilots and jets mean you turtle. Bax said this out loud when a 2-million bounty landed on him: keep the tank at base, let them take the airfield, cook a 4,000-tier follow-up.
Bounties are a popularity contest. A huge number means the server is looking at you. It does not mean you must duel in the center. It means your flags are valuable. Defend the closest two and ignore the rest until the deploy comes home.
Turtle is a strategy
A turtle session looks boring and prints tanks. Recall, merge, raise Spawn Tier, and only deploy when the neighbor’s stack is committed elsewhere. Two players ganging up on one plot showed up in Bax’s tape. You cannot win a 2v1 with pride. You can win it with a pad that still has twins.
If you bought Auto Merge, turtle is even stronger because the pad cooks while you watch the map. That is a pass decision, not a moral one. See game pass tiers.
When to take the fight
Take the fight when:
- Your apex model out-tiers what they sent.
- The flag is one you already paid to flip once.
- You have a reserve at home.
- Their bounty walk is a long crawl and you can intercept on your side of the field.
Skip the fight when they have air and you have bikes, when two plots are allied in practice, or when your pad is full. A full pad plus a war is how you brick the Index for ten minutes.
After you win a plot
Do not sightseeing. Flip the flag, recall the wounded, merge the refunds, and look at the next weakest owner. The best army page is what you should be sending by then. The Elite Tank guide is what you send if the server has become a highlight map.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Merge a Mini Army questions.
Is there a ranked mode?
No. Each server is a six-player sandbox. Bounties are flavor, not a ladder.
Can I team with a friend?
You can join the same server and avoid each other’s flags. There is no official ally system. Other players can still take both of you.
What does a bounty mean?
The server has marked you as a target. It is a warning light, not a loot pinata you must collect.
Should I chase a player across the map?
Almost never. Troops are slow. Merge at home and retake the nearest flag they left empty.
